This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure control is insufficient with the combination of telmisartan and amlodipine alone, and who also need to take rosuvastatin simultaneously. The combination of telmisartan and amlodipine effectively lowers essential hypertension and aids in blood pressure control. Rosuvastatin lowers blood cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, thereby improving vascular health. Additionally, in patients with hypercholesterolemia, it delays the progression of atherosclerosis and helps patients with refractory lipid disorders such as homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. In patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease, it is also used to reduce the risk of complications following a stroke, myocardial infarction, or artery revascularization. This medication contributes to cardiovascular health by effectively managing hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
