This medication is used to relieve the allergic rhinitis symptoms of patients suffering from asthma and experiencing perennial allergic rhinitis. It helps reduce discomfort such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose, thereby improving the quality of life.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1 tablet orally once daily in the evening.

Precautions

This medication may cause abnormal psychiatric symptoms, so immediately consult a physician if new behavioral changes or suicidal thoughts occur during treatment. This medication should not be used by patients with specific allergic reactions, severely impaired kidney function, pregnant or nursing women, or those with lactose intolerance. Patients with impaired kidney or liver function, as well as the elderly, should take extra caution when using this medication, as blood concentrations may increase, and they should follow doctor’s instructions. Side effects such as upper respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disturbances, headaches, drowsiness, and skin rashes may occur, so consult a doctor if symptoms are severe. This medication is not intended to treat acute asthma attacks; appropriate emergency medications must be available for acute symptoms. Patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid these medications while taking this drug. Pregnant women or those who could become pregnant should use this medication only when necessary, and nursing women should also avoid taking it for safety.
