Relief of symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis
This medication is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis in patients with asthma and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Adults and adolescents over 15 years old should take 1 tablet orally once a day in the evening.
This medication may affect the nervous system, and symptoms such as restlessness, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, hallucinations, and suicidal impulses may occur while taking it, so caution is required. If any of these symptoms occur during treatment, consult a doctor immediately and continue to monitor until symptoms improve. This medication should not be used in patients with certain allergic reactions or significantly impaired renal function, pregnant or nursing women, and patients with lactose intolerance. Patients with impaired renal or liver function or the elderly may experience increased blood concentration of this medication, so it should be used with caution. Common side effects during treatment include upper respiratory infections, nasopharyngitis, gastrointestinal disturbances, headaches, and drowsiness, most of which are mild symptoms. This medication is not a treatment for acute asthma attacks; appropriate emergency medications should always be available during acute symptoms. Those with aspirin hypersensitivity should not take aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs while using this medication. Drowsiness or fatigue may occur during use, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery, and it should not be taken with alcohol. It should only be used during pregnancy when necessary and is not recommended during lactation. Safety and efficacy in children under 15 years of age have not been established. In case of overdose, no specific antidote is available; general symptomatic treatment should be performed, and if symptoms are severe, immediate medical attention is required. This medication is sensitive to light and should not be removed from packaging until use, and it should be kept out of reach of children. Additionally, transferring it to another container may degrade its quality, so caution is required.
