This medication is used to relieve cold symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

Dosage

Aged 15 years and older: 2 tablets at a time, 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may put stress on the liver, so those who drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rashes or blister-like abnormal symptoms occur on the skin during the use of this medication, the drug must be discontinued immediately and advice from a professional should be sought. Since it contains acetaminophen, care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose, and it should not be taken with other medicines containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, or those who have experienced asthma, infants under three months old, and those taking certain antidepressants should not take this medication. During use, medications that include cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines should not be taken together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic predispositions, those with issues related to major organs such as the liver, kidneys, or heart, pregnant or nursing women, must consult a professional before use. If symptoms such as rashes, vomiting, dizziness, or insomnia occur after taking the medication, it should be stopped immediately and a doctor consulted. In cases of severe allergic reactions or difficulty breathing, immediate medical attention should be sought. Children under two years of age should generally not take this medication unless in special circumstances, and when given to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. During use, the prescribed dosage and method must be strictly followed, long-term use should be avoided, and alcohol should be abstained from. Drowsiness may occur during use, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery.

Interactions

Do not take this medication with oral drugs that contain cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take it if you are using MAO inhibitors for the treatment of depression or Parkinson's disease, or if you have stopped using them within the last 2 weeks. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, or steroids. Barbiturate drugs, tricyclic antidepressants.
