This medicine is used for respiratory diseases such as cough, phlegm, and asthma.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older and adults: 1 sachet 3-4 times a day after meals and at bedtime, taken with or without water.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. It should not be used in infants under 3 months old. Those who have had allergic reactions to this medicine or any of its components should avoid taking it. Do not take this medicine with MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotic medications, especially if they were taken or discontinued in the last 2 weeks. Since this medicine contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should avoid it. It is advisable not to take this medicine with other cold medications, cough suppressants, antihistamines, or sedatives while using it. Individuals with allergies or a history of drug allergy symptoms should consult a specialist before use. Consultation with a specialist is necessary if there are conditions such as liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, or difficulty urinating. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult a doctor before use. It is safe to consult a specialist if you are undergoing treatment or have specific cough symptoms. If symptoms like rash, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, etc. appear during use, immediately stop taking it and consult a doctor. Long-term use can lead to side effects such as muscle weakness, edema, and increased blood pressure due to hypokalemia, so caution is needed. If symptoms do not improve after taking it 5-6 times, stop use and consult a specialist. It is generally not used in children under 2 years old, except in special cases. Be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and avoid alcohol while taking it. Drowsiness may occur, so it is advisable to refrain from driving or operating machinery. When taken with medications containing potassium or licorice, or certain diuretics, side effects may occur, so caution should be exercised.
