This medication is used for pediatric and adult patients over 2 years old when oral or gastrointestinal nutrient supply is difficult or insufficient. It directly provides nutrients, including calories, amino acids, electrolytes, essential fatty acids, and omega-3 fatty acids, through the veins. This helps improve the nutritional status of the patient and supplements necessary nutrients. It is used for the purpose of health recovery and resolving nutritional imbalance.

Dosage and Administration

Anaphylactic reactions (fever, chills, rash, difficulty breathing), skin rash, hives, pallor, cyanosis, difficulty breathing, respiratory distress, jaundice related to lipid overload syndrome, severe allergic reactions, severe hypertriglyceridemia, pulmonary edema, congestive heart failure, thrombophlebitis, coma.

Mild side effects

Tachycardia, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, increased plasma liver enzyme levels, hypotension, hypertension, mild elevation of body temperature, risk of venous irritation within a few days, potential for phlebitis or thrombophlebitis, chills, dizziness, headache, warmth or cold sensation, pain (in neck, back, bones, chest, and waist), hyperglycemia, increase in serum triglyceride levels, symptoms of lipid overload syndrome (hyperlipidemia, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia.
