Precautions

This medicine may burden the liver, so those who regularly drink more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist. One of the ingredients in this medicine, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin reactions such as severe rashes, blisters, or mucosal damage, so if any unusual symptoms appear on the skin, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen, and this medicine should not be taken together with other medications containing acetaminophen. Additionally, due to the pseudoephedrine component in this medicine, if symptoms such as fever, skin rashes, or small blisters occur, stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Those with a history of hypersensitivity or allergy to this medicine, those who have previously had asthma, infants under three months of age, those currently taking or who have recently discontinued certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, or those with severe hypertension or kidney disease should avoid using this medicine. It is also safe not to take cough medicines, other cold medicines, fever-reducing analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines while taking this medicine. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies, those with liver, kidney, heart diseases, the elderly, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a professional before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia appear after taking it, immediate cessation of use and consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is required. In case of severe allergic reactions, skin disorders, asthma, or symptoms indicating liver dysfunction, seek emergency medical assistance. Children under 2 years should not take this medicine, and in urgent cases, a doctor's consultation is necessary. This medicine must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage; prolonged use is not advised, and alcohol should be avoided during use. Drowsiness may occur, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Care should also be taken when taken with certain medications, as they may affect drug metabolism. Finally, store this medicine out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool, dry place sealed tightly. It is also advisable not to transfer it to other containers to maintain quality.
