This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough with phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and over: 1 pouch (20mL) per dose, three times a day after meals

Child dose

Aged 11 to under 15 years: 2/3 pouch per dose Aged 7 to under 11 years: 1/2 pouch per dose Aged 3 to under 7 years: 1/3 pouch per dose Aged 2 to under 3 years: 1/4 pouch per dose

Precautions

This medicine can put a burden on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If any abnormal symptoms such as severe rash, blisters, or itching occur while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medicine or its ingredients, those who have experienced asthma attacks, infants under three months, or those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not use this medicine. While taking this medicine, it is advisable not to take cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Infants suspected of having chickenpox or flu, as well as children under 15 years old, must consult a healthcare professional before use, and those with allergic dispositions or existing conditions should also seek prior advice. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, urinary issues, or dizziness arise after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. In particular, if severe allergic reactions, skin disorders, asthma symptoms, or liver function abnormalities occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider. In children under two years of age, it should not be used except in special cases, and when administering to children, parental supervision is necessary.   • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)
  • Cough with shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever → respiratory problems

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema (swelling), difficulty urinating, persistent or severe dry mouth, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Do not take this medicine with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotic medications, mood stabilizers, anticholinergics, etc.), cough suppressants, expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and oral medications containing antihistamines (oral drugs for rhinitis, motion sickness, allergy medications).
