This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and a heavy head caused by the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults: Apply within a range of 2 times a day into the nasal cavity. The interval between applications should be 10 to 12 hours, and should not exceed 2 times in 24 hours.

Children's dosage

Children aged 7 and older: Apply within a range of 2 times a day into the nasal cavity. The interval between applications should be 10 to 12 hours, and should not exceed 2 times in 24 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in children under 7 years old or infants under 2 years old. People who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its ingredients should avoid using it. Individuals who are taking or have stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anti-Parkinson's medications within the last 2 weeks should not use this medication. Those with a history of allergy conditions such as hives, contact dermatitis, migraines, or food allergies should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before use. People who have experienced allergic symptoms with similar medications in the past should also consult with an expert. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or glaucoma should consult their healthcare provider prior to use. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before use. Smokers or individuals with chronic cough or excessive phlegm, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or those with cough lasting more than a week should consult a healthcare professional before use. This medication contains propylene glycol; individuals allergic to this ingredient should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as rash, redness, swelling, irritation, or itching occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days of use, consult an expert. Use this medication according to the prescribed dosage and instructions. Excessive use may worsen nasal congestion, so caution is needed. This medication is for rhinitis only and should not be used in the eyes or ears. Avoid sharing to prevent contamination. It is advisable not to use continuously for more than 7 days. Alcohol should be avoided while using this medication. When administering to children, it should be used only under the supervision of an adult. The included benzalkonium chloride can cause bronchospasm and may irritate or swell the nasal mucosa with prolonged use.
