How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 capsules per dose 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may impose a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day should consult a physician or pharmacist. Additionally, this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or other allergic symptoms appear on the skin, discontinue use immediately. This medication should not be taken with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's drugs, etc.), cough suppressants, expectorants (phlegm medications), other cold medications, antipyretics, depressants, or antihistamines contained in oral medications (oral preparations for rhinitis, anti-motion sickness medications, allergy medications). Do not take this medication within 2 weeks of discontinuing MAO inhibitors. Barbiturate medications, tricyclic antidepressants.
