This medication is used to relieve respiratory symptoms such as cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

For those 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules 3 times a day after meals at 30-minute intervals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Individuals with an allergy to this medication or its ingredients, or a history of such reactions, should not use this product. People taking MAO inhibitors, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and anti-Parkinson’s medications, or who have stopped taking them less than 2 weeks ago, should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication alongside other cough medicines, cold remedies, medications containing antihistamines, or sedatives. Those with a history of allergies, such as hives, allergic rhinitis, migraines, or food allergies, or who have experienced allergic reactions to medications, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, or difficulty urinating, as well as the elderly, frail individuals, or those with a fever, should also consult a healthcare provider before using this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals with respiratory diseases such as smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, or those whose cough has lasted more than a week, or coughs accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If any symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, difficulty urinating, persistent thirst, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. This medication is not suitable for children under 2 years of age; if necessary, medical advice should be sought. The prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly adhered to, and children under 7 years old are advised to use syrup forms of medication. Alcohol should not be consumed during the course of this medication, and caution should be taken regarding drowsiness; it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and sealed properly. Also, do not transfer the medication to a different container and be careful to avoid misuse.
