This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and over: 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Aged 7 to under 15 years: 1 capsule per dose, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medicine should be taken only after consulting a doctor or pharmacist if the person regularly consumes more than three drinks a day. The risk of liver damage increases if the medicine is taken by someone who drinks heavily. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients or have had an adverse reaction. Also, avoid taking it if you have had asthma from taking this medicine or similar antipyretic analgesics, or cold medications. Infants under 3 months should not take this medicine, and children aged 3 months to under 2 years should see a doctor to determine if they are to take this medicine. Those taking or having stopped an MAO inhibitor like antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or antiparkinson drugs within the last two weeks should not take this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should avoid it. It is also safer for patients with severe or uncontrolled high blood pressure, serious kidney diseases, or renal failure not to use this medicine. Do not take other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, antihistamines, etc., while taking this medicine. Particularly, taking other products containing acetaminophen increases the risk of liver damage. While taking this medicine, it is advisable to refrain from alcohol consumption, and avoid driving vehicles or operating machinery, as drowsiness may occur. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or shortness of breath occur, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. In particular, emergency treatment may be necessary if hives, difficulty breathing, or severe skin reactions occur. Do not take this medicine for an extended period, adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage strictly, and provide supervision when administering it to children. Store this medicine in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering and keep it at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius to maintain its efficacy and safety.

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, paleness → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mouth/eyes mucosa → severe skin reaction
  • Difficulty breathing, asthma, cough with fever → respiratory issues
  • Liver dysfunction: general malaise, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice) → liver issues (jaundice)
  • Sudden, severe headache, lightning-type headache

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, difficulty urinating, persistent or severe dryness of mouth, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
