Yuhan Acetaminophen Tablet 500 mg

Adult dose

Take 1 to 2 tablets 3-4 times a day as needed (every 4-6 hours). Do not exceed 4 grams (8 tablets) in one day. This medication should be taken for the shortest duration possible at the minimum effective dose.

Child dose

Children aged 12 years and older: Take 1 to 2 tablets 3-4 times a day as needed (every 4-6 hours). Do not exceed 4 grams (8 tablets) in one day. This medication should be taken for the shortest duration possible at the minimum effective dose.

This medication may burden the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Serious skin reactions such as rashes or blisters may occur while taking this medication, so if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Care should be taken not to exceed a maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products. Individuals with allergic reactions to this drug, as well as those with gastric ulcers, severe liver or kidney diseases, or cardiac dysfunction, should not take this medication. People with aspirin-induced asthma or those taking certain medications should also refrain from using this drug. Before taking this medication, individuals with liver or kidney diseases, bleeding tendencies, asthma, elderly individuals, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms such as difficulty breathing, flushing of the face, hives, nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, or severe abdominal pain occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and seek professional assistance. Regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted during long-term use, and if abnormalities are detected, dosage should be adjusted or discontinued. It is advisable to avoid taking other analgesics concurrently, and if pain or fever persists for more than 10 days, consult with a professional. In the case of overdose, seek prompt medical attention even if no symptoms are present. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container, at room temperature, and out of reach of children. Moreover, it is safer not to transfer the medication to another container but to keep it in its original container.

Serious side effects

• Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe allergic reactions
• Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, mucosal pain in mouth/eyes, severe skin adverse reactions
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever
• Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), severe general malaise, liver abnormalities
• Sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pruritic rash, rash, fixed drug eruption, elevated AST, elevated ALT, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Drug interactions

Caution is required when taking this medication with warfarin. Additionally, consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking it with flucloxacillin. Avoid taking other anti-inflammatory (NSAID) analgesics concurrently.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. The storage temperature should ideally be maintained between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
