View approved original text

This medicine helps to improve blood sugar control in adult patients with type 2 diabetes by using dapagliflozin and metformin together. It can be more effective in managing blood sugar when combined with dietary and exercise therapy. In particular, for patients whose blood sugar is not adequately controlled and who have cardiovascular disease or risk factors, the cardiovascular event prevention effect of dapagliflozin should also be considered. This medicine is used for the blood sugar control and cardiovascular health management of patients with type 2 diabetes.
