This medicine is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Child dose

Aged 8 years to less than 15 years: Take 1 capsule three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medicine can be hard on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Acetaminophen, one of the ingredients in this medicine, can rarely cause severe skin rash or allergic reactions, so if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. The daily maximum dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and this medicine should not be taken simultaneously with other products containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine in this medicine can rarely cause severe skin adverse reactions, so if fever or small blisters on the skin appear, stop taking and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Those who are allergic to this medicine or have previously experienced asthma symptoms from this medicine or similar drugs, infants under three months old, those taking or recently discontinuing certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and individuals with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medicine. Additionally, it should not be taken together with cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretics and analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines, and before taking, individuals with children who have chickenpox or flu, those with allergic tendencies, liver, kidney, heart diseases, pregnant or breastfeeding women should definitely consult a specialist. If any severe symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, shortness of breath, or severe skin blistering occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. This medicine should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and in cases where it is strictly necessary, a doctor's evaluation should be obtained. When taking, adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption. Since drowsiness may occur during use, it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery, and caution is needed when combined with certain medications. Finally, this medicine should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, in a tightly closed container.
