This medicine is used for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, skin itching, and eczema and dermatitis. It is also effective when taken together with hydrocortisone topical preparations. This medication helps improve these symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children aged 6 years or older are administered 10 mg orally once daily before bedtime as cetirizine hydrochloride.
