Relief of inflammation and pain from rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), etc.
This medication is used for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendonitis (tendinitis), acute gout, dysmenorrhea, etc. It is also effective for various pain relief, including bursitis, muscle disorders such as sprains and strains, postoperative pain, migraines, and pain after tooth extraction. This drug helps reduce inflammation and pain, improving the patient's daily activities. Therefore, it is widely used not only for joint and muscle diseases but also for various pain conditions.
1. Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis Administer 250-500 mg of naproxen (1 to 2 capsules) orally twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Acute Gout Administer 750 mg (3 capsules) of naproxen as the initial dose orally, and then administer 250 mg (1 capsule) every 8 hours until the attack subsides. 3. Musculoskeletal Disorders, Postoperative Pain, Pain After Tooth Extraction, Dysmenorrhea, Tendonitis, Bursitis.
This medication may cause stomach bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, and consultation with a physician or pharmacist is necessary. It may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, so those with a risk of heart disease or stroke should take caution and consult a doctor immediately if symptoms occur. Serious gastrointestinal issues such as stomach bleeding, ulcers, and perforations can occur, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be carefully monitored. Patients with peptic ulcers, severe liver or kidney diseases, heart failure, hypertension, or blood disorders should not take this drug. Those with asthma or hypersensitivity to aspirin should also avoid this medication. This drug can cause various side effects, including allergic reactions, gastrointestinal disturbances, blood abnormalities, liver or kidney issues, and skin rashes. If any unusual symptoms occur, discontinuation and consultation with a physician are necessary. It should be avoided during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, as it may pose risks to the fetus. During breastfeeding, it is advisable not to use this medication as it may transfer into breast milk and affect the baby. Safety has not been established for children, especially infants under two years old, so administration is not recommended. Elderly patients should start at a lower dose and take caution for side effects. The risk of side effects may increase when taking this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or certain medications, so report all medications you are taking to your doctor for consultation. In case of overdose, symptoms such as drowsiness, indigestion, and vomiting may occur, and immediate medical attention is necessary. Store in a safe place out of reach of children.

This medication should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and naproxen derivatives, high doses of methotrexate, hydantoins, sulfa drugs, sulfonylurea blood glucose-lowering agents, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors like captopril, loop diuretics and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, lithium, low-dose methotrexate, warfarin and other coumarin anticoagulants, zidovudine, and others.
This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is advisable to maintain a storage temperature between 1°C and 30°C to safely preserve the medication's effectiveness.
