It is generally recommended that children under the age of two do not use this medication, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is essential. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration strictly and avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption while taking this medication. Additionally, caution is needed when used with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice ingredients due to the risk of muscle problems from changes in blood potassium levels. Simultaneous use of this medication with a specific antibiotic, flucloxacillin, may rarely result in severe metabolic acidosis, so if any related symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
