Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
Adults take 1 tablet three times a day after meals.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Additionally, individuals who are allergic or have had hypersensitivity reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. People currently taking or have taken certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications known as MAO inhibitors within the last two weeks should not use this medication. It is also safe to avoid taking other cough medications, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives while taking this medication. Individuals with allergic tendencies or who have previously experienced allergic symptoms such as rashes, fever, or itching due to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Those with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, or urination difficulties should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should consult a professional before taking this medication. Smokers or those with respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or who have a cough persisting for more than a week, fever, rashes, or headaches accompanying their cough should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms like skin rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, urination difficulties, persistent thirst, anxiety, shaking, or insomnia occur during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5-6 times, be sure to consult a professional. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication except in special cases and must seek a doctor's care when absolutely necessary. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration; it is preferable for children under 7 years of age to take a syrup form of this medication.
