Precautions

This medication affects the heart and blood pressure, so it should not be administered to patients with certain heart diseases or severely impaired heart function. It should also be avoided in patients with respiratory diseases such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as it may worsen symptoms. Patients with diabetes, severely impaired liver or kidney function, and women who are pregnant or nursing should also refrain from taking this medication. Patients should be cautious as symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, and headache may occur while taking this medication, and there is a risk of heart rate slowing or blood pressure dropping too low. Diabetes patients should frequently check their blood sugar levels, as it may become difficult to control blood glucose levels. If symptoms of liver dysfunction appear (e.g., jaundice, changes in urine color), they should consult a doctor immediately. Stopping this medication suddenly may worsen heart-related symptoms, so the dosage should be gradually reduced under the direction of a physician. It has many interactions with other medications, so it is essential to inform a doctor or pharmacist about any other medications being taken, as this can alter the efficacy of this drug. Elderly patients, children, and patients with certain genetic metabolic traits require careful dosage adjustments and monitoring. Be cautious during activities that require alertness, such as driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness or dizziness may occur. In case of overdose, severe blood pressure drops, cardiac irregularities, and respiratory difficulties may occur, and immediate medical attention should be sought. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers.
