This medication is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, specifically degenerative arthritis. It selectively inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, which can reduce pain and inflammation, thereby alleviating discomfort in patients' daily lives. However, before using this medication, it is crucial to assess each patient's overall health status and risk factors carefully. This can help safely improve osteoarthritis symptoms.
