Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve moderate to severe acute and chronic pain.
Children over 12 years and adults: Dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of the patient's pain and treatment response. An initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, thereafter the interval between doses should be at least 6 hours, and not exceed 16 tablets per day. The lowest effective dose should be given for the shortest duration. Avoid taking this medication longer than necessary, and if prolonged use is required due to the nature and severity of the disease, regular monitoring should be conducted to assess the need for continued treatment with this medication. In the elderly: Administer the usual adult dosage. However, in patients aged 75 years and older, the elimination half-life of tramadol may increase by 17% when taken orally, so intervals of at least 6 hours should be maintained between doses. In patients with renal impairment: For patients with moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance of 10-30 ml/min), extend the dosing interval to 12 hours. Administration is not recommended for patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min). Tramadol is removed very slowly during hemodialysis and filtration, so there is no need for redosing after dialysis to maintain analgesic effects. In patients with hepatic impairment: For patients with moderate liver impairment, consider carefully extending the dosing interval. Do not administer this medication in patients with severe liver impairment.
Children over 12 years and adults: Dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of the patient's pain and treatment response. An initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, thereafter the interval between doses should be at least 6 hours, and not exceed 16 tablets per day.

This medication should not be administered to children under 12 years of age or to adolescents under 18 who have undergone certain surgeries, and it should be used cautiously in adolescents aged 12 to 18. This medication can exacerbate sleep apnea or hypoxia, so if related symptoms occur, consider dosage adjustment or discontinuation. Patients at risk for hyponatremia need to monitor symptoms during the use of this medication. Patients with biliary diseases or a history of gallbladder surgery should be closely monitored for the possibility of pancreatitis. Patients who are allergic to any of the components, have central nervous system drug dependency, severe respiratory depression, brain injury, or are taking MAO inhibitors should not use this medication.
