This medication is effective in relieving fever and pain caused by colds, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and sprain pain. It is also used to reduce pain from toothaches, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. This medication aids in improving these symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 to 2 tablets per dose, 3 to 4 times a day (every 4 to 6 hours) as needed. Do not exceed a maximum of 4g (8 tablets) in a day. This medication should be taken for the shortest duration necessary at the minimum effective dose.

Child dose

Precautions

This medicine can put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. This medicine can rarely cause severe skin reactions; if you develop a rash or blisters, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen in this medication should not exceed 4,000 mg, and it should not be used in conjunction with other acetaminophen-containing medications to prevent liver damage. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or have peptic ulcers, severe liver or kidney disease, impaired heart function, or a history of aspirin asthma should not take it. Additionally, it is advisable for individuals taking barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or consuming alcohol to avoid this medication. Those with liver or kidney diseases, peptic ulcers, blood abnormalities, bleeding tendencies, heart function abnormalities, hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma, elderly, pregnant or nursing individuals, those on warfarin, and those taking lithium or thiazide diuretics must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If you experience difficulty breathing, facial flushing, hives, severe nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, severe allergic reactions, or bleeding symptoms while using this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Long-term use of this medication requires regular blood tests and liver function tests, and if any abnormal symptoms occur, dosages should be reduced or discontinued. Children and the elderly should take the minimum effective dose and be monitored for adverse reactions, and concurrent use with other anti-inflammatory analgesics should be avoided. Do not take this medication for more than 10 days for pain or more than 3 days for fever, and if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional. In case of overdose, visit a hospital immediately for liver protection treatment even if there are no symptoms.
