Withergood Oral Disintegrating Film 20mg (Tadalafil)

Adult dose

Use in adult men The recommended dose of this medicine is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. For patients in whom tadalafil (tadalafil) 10mg does not provide sufficient effect, 20 mg may be tried. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once daily. Immediately after removing this medicine from its individual package, place it on the tongue and allow it to dissolve; take without water. Long-term safety after extended daily dosing has not been established, and because the effect of this medicine usually lasts more than one day, continuous daily administration of this medicine is strongly not recommended. [See sections 1. Warnings and 11.1) Pharmacodynamic properties] Use in elderly men No dosage adjustments are necessary in elderly patients. Use in men with renal impairment No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose in patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic properties]. Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. Clinical data on the safety of this medicine in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited; if prescribing, the physician should carefully assess the individual benefit/risk. Use in men with diabetes No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with diabetes.

Child dose

Do not use in persons under 18 years of age.

This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction, and the underlying causes should be confirmed through a doctor's diagnosis and physical examination before use. Sexual activity can impose a burden on the heart; therefore, patients with cardiovascular diseases should be especially cautious, and if any heart-related symptoms occur during or after sexual activity, they should stop immediately and consult a doctor. If an erection persists for more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention, as untreated conditions may lead to penile tissue damage and permanent erectile dysfunction. Taking this medication alongside nitrates or NO donors can significantly lower blood pressure; thus, these medications should not be taken before or after using this drug. Patients who have recently experienced cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction, angina, or stroke should not use this medication, and it is also not recommended for patients with hereditary retinal diseases. It is preferable not to use this medication together with other erectile dysfunction treatments and it should not be administered to patients who have experienced vision loss. Patients with severe renal or liver impairment should use this medication cautiously, as some antihypertensives may cause blood pressure lowering symptoms when used in combination with it. This medication is primarily metabolized in the liver, so its concentration may increase due to liver function impairment or interactions with certain drugs, necessitating dosage adjustments. During treatment, side effects such as headaches, dyspepsia, back pain, muscle pain, flushing, and other mild or transient symptoms may occur. Serious side effects, including cardiovascular abnormalities, loss of vision and hearing, and priapism, have been reported; if these symptoms occur, immediate consultation with medical personnel is necessary. This medication is not to be used by pregnant women, nursing mothers, or children. Caution is advised when taking it with alcohol, as it may increase blood pressure lowering effects and dizziness; thus, individuals should check their reactions before driving or operating machinery. In the case of overdose, standard emergency treatment should be administered, and blood dialysis does not significantly affect the excretion of this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and it is safest to maintain it in its original packaging.
