Relief of cold symptoms (runny nose, nasal congestion)
This medication is used to alleviate typical cold symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle aches.
Ages 15 and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals
Ages over 7 to under 15: Take 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals
This medication can put strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. This medication may rarely cause serious skin reactions; if a rash or allergic symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. It contains acetaminophen, so care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Since it contains pseudoephedrine, which can cause severe skin reactions, if fever or skin changes occur, discontinue use and consult a professional. This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergy histories, infants under 3 months of age, and patients with severe hypertension or kidney diseases. It is advisable not to take it with other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children infected with chickenpox or influenza, those with specific diseases, individuals with a history of drug allergies, pregnant women, or nursing mothers must consult a professional before using this medication. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, vomiting, or dizziness occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist; if symptoms do not improve, further medical attention is needed. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and parental supervision is required when giving it to children. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, do not take it for prolonged periods, avoid alcohol, and be cautious as it may cause drowsiness; refrain from driving or operating machinery. Caution is required when taking this medication in combination with certain antidepressants or antibiotics, and it should be discontinued if abnormal symptoms are suspected.
