This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle aches.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 and older: Take 1 tablet three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Rarely, serious rashes or blisters on the skin have been reported during the use of this medication. If any skin rash or allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately. It contains acetaminophen, so be careful not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg, and do not take it with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those with certain genetic disorders should not take it. People taking or having recently stopped MAO inhibitors, such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, should not take this medication. It is also safe not to take it with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children who have or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, especially those under 15 years old, must consult a doctor before taking it, and infants under 2 years old who are over 3 months should have their use determined after a doctor's evaluation. Individuals with allergic constitutions, chronic conditions such as liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a specialist before taking it. If symptoms like rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, shortness of breath, severe skin reactions, or jaundice occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed method and dosage, do not take it for extended periods, and avoid alcohol while taking it. Taking this medication with certain drugs may increase the risk of side effects, so consult a specialist if you are taking other medications. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and it is advised not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.

Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema (swelling), dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high-anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
