1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Administer 275-550mg of naproxen sodium orally twice a day (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout: Administer 825mg orally as a starting dose and continue with 275mg orally every 8 hours until the attack has subsided. 3. Skeletal muscle disorders, postoperative pain, pain after tooth extraction, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis: Administer 550mg of naproxen sodium orally as a starting dose, followed by 275mg every 6-8 hours. Total daily dose should not exceed 1350mg. 4. Migraine: Administer 825mg of naproxen sodium orally as a starting dose. If necessary, can take additional 275-550mg on the same day, 30 minutes after the initial dose. Total daily dose should not exceed 1350mg. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.

This medication is effective for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis (tendonitis), acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It is also used to alleviate pain from bursitis, muscle and ligament strains, sprains, and trauma. It helps reduce postoperative pain, migraines, and pain after tooth extraction. This drug is widely used for various inflammatory and pain-related conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Administer 275-550mg of naproxen sodium orally twice a day (every 12 hours). 2. Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if the patient regularly consumes more than three alcoholic drinks a day, as it increases the risk of gastric bleeding. This drug may affect the cardiovascular system, so patients with heart disease or risk factors should be particularly cautious, and consult a doctor immediately if cardiovascular symptoms appear. Patients or elderly individuals with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, perforation should take caution when using this drug. In the case of prolonged use, adverse reactions should be closely monitored, and use should be stopped immediately if any abnormal symptoms appear and consult a doctor. This medication should not be used in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and may interact with certain drugs, so any medications currently being taken should be disclosed. It should be avoided during pregnancy, especially in the later stages, as it may harm the fetus, and it is also advisable not to take this medication while breastfeeding, as it can affect the infant through breast milk. Children, especially infants under 2 years, should not take it as safety has not been established, and elderly patients should start with a smaller dose and take it cautiously. Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, naproxen derivatives, aspirin, or high doses of methotrexate. Avoid use with hydantoins, sulfa drugs, sulfonylurea hypoglycemics, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril), loop diuretics, thiazide diuretics, probenecid, lithium, low-dose methotrexate, and coumarin anticoagulants.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to protect against air and moisture. It is advisable to maintain storage temperatures between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius.
