This medication is effective for fever and pain caused by cold, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and sprain pain. It can also be used for toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. It helps effectively alleviate various pains, improving the discomfort of patients.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 to 2 tablets 3-4 times a day (every 4-6 hours) as needed. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 grams (8 tablets) per day. Take the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Child dose

Children 12 years of age and older should take 1 to 2 tablets 3-4 times a day (every 4-6 hours) as needed. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 grams (8 tablets) per day. Take the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Precautions

This medication may affect the liver, so individuals who consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. While taking this medication, serious skin reactions may rarely occur, so if a rash or allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. The maximum daily dosage of the ingredients included in this medication must not exceed 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken concurrently with other medications containing the same ingredients. Persons allergic to this medication or those with peptic ulcers, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, decreased cardiac function, or specific asthma history should not take it. Additionally, individuals taking certain antidepressants or barbiturate medications, as well as those under the influence of alcohol, should not take this medication. Those with liver or kidney disease, peptic ulcers, blood abnormalities, cardiac dysfunction, asthma, elderly individuals, or those who are pregnant or nursing should consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as difficulty breathing, facial flushing, hives, vomiting, skin rashes, or severe abdominal pain occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult healthcare professionals. Long-term users of this medication should have regular blood tests and liver function tests, and if abnormalities are found, appropriate measures such as reducing the dosage or discontinuation should be taken. If pain or fever persists, do not take it for more than 10 days (adults) or more than 5 days (children), and fever symptoms should not be treated for more than 3 days; if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a professional. This medication may mask infection symptoms, so if an infection is suspected, appropriate antibiotics should be taken as prescribed by a doctor. Caution is needed when taking this medication with certain antibiotics (such as flucloxacillin) as metabolic acidosis may rarely occur; if unusual symptoms are suspected, discontinue use. In case of overdose, even if there are no symptoms, visit a hospital immediately for treatment to protect the liver.

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor (anaphylaxis reaction, hypersensitivity), severe skin adverse reactions (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), asthma attacks, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, cyanosis, facial swelling, hypotension, shock, gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcer, perforation, liver abnormalities (including jaundice), severe neurotoxicity

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pruritic (itchy) rash, rash, fixed rash, prolonged bleeding time due to platelet dysfunction, metabolic acidosis with high anion gap, chronic liver necrosis, acute pancreatitis, chronic hepatitis, renal toxicity, hepatobiliary abnormalities (AST elevation, ALT elevation)
