Relief from heartburn related to excess stomach acid and discomfort
This medication is used to relieve heartburn caused by excess stomach acid and discomfort. It helps reduce the discomforting symptoms by controlling the excessive secretion of acid in the stomach, alleviating pain and burning in the center of the chest. This effect aids digestion and improves discomfort in daily life.
Adults and patients over 15 years of age should take 1 tablet at a time. Do not exceed 2 tablets within 24 hours.
This medication contains lactose and should not be used in patients who are genetically unable to digest lactose. It should also not be taken if you are allergic to this medication or similar types of medications. If you have difficulty taking this medication, it is advisable not to use it. Patients with unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain should use this medication with caution, as other conditions may be the cause. Consultation with a doctor is advised. Patients with kidney disease should ensure to check the calcium levels in the blood. If you are taking other medications, be sure to consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication, particularly as antacids may have interactions with other drugs. Rarely, this medication may cause allergic reactions, liver function abnormalities, gastrointestinal symptoms, or skin rashes. Symptoms like headaches, fatigue, and joint pain may also occur rarely, so immediate consultation with a doctor is necessary if any unusual symptoms arise. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or do not improve, discontinue the medication and consult a specialist, and it is safe to avoid long-term use beyond 2 weeks. If you exceed the prescribed dosage, immediately stop taking the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Caution is necessary for patients undergoing hemodialysis when using phosphate binders along with this medication. The antacids included in this medication may interact with several other drugs, so they should be taken at least 2 hours apart from other medications. Furthermore, do not use it in combination with other gastrointestinal medications as it may worsen side effects. It is advisable for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to avoid using this medication, and breastfeeding women should also avoid taking this medication. Children under 15 years of age should consult a doctor before taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. It is important not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain quality.

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if taken with antacids, atenolol, metoprolol, propranolol, chloroquine, cycline antibiotics, diclazuril, digoxin, phosphates, fexofenadine, iron (salts), fluoroquinolone antibiotics, sodium fluoride, glucocorticoids, indomethacin, ketoconazole, lansoprazole, phenothiazines, penicillamine, phosphates, and thyroxine. It interacts with salicylic acid.
This medication should not be taken with gastrointestinal medications.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. It is recommended to keep the storage temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
