This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the common cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 and above & adults: Take 1 capsule three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication can put strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If serious rashes, blisters, or red spots appear on the skin while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. It contains acetaminophen, and the daily maximum dosage must not be exceeded; it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if fever, skin rashes, or small blisters appear, discontinue use and consult a professional. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, those currently taking or recently discontinued certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, individuals with uncontrolled hypertension, or those with severe kidney disease should not use this medication. It is safe not to take cough medications, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, and antihistamines while using this medication. Children who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic reactions, those with liver, kidney, or heart illnesses, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and individuals undergoing drug therapy must consult a professional before taking this medication. If rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, severe headaches, or difficulty breathing appear after taking the medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication unless prescribed by a doctor. Follow the proper dosage and administration as prescribed, avoid long-term use, and refrain from alcohol consumption while taking this medication. Additionally, this medication may cause drowsiness, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, and liver function may be affected when taken with certain medications, so consultation with a professional is advised. Store this medication in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and do not transfer to other containers.

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, paleness (anaphylactic shock symptoms)

  • Asthma
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), profound lethargy (liver dysfunction)
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, cough with fever indicating respiratory abnormalities (interstitial pneumonia)
  • Sudden

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema, difficulty urinating, thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high-anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), rash, redness, itching

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson medications, etc.), cough suppressants/expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take this medication within 2 weeks of stopping MAO inhibitors. Barbiturate medications, tricyclic antidepressants, alcohol, diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, and anticoagulants.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture. It is best stored at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C.
