Precautions
This medication may put a strain on the liver, so anyone who regularly consumes more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. As it contains acetaminophen, there is a rare risk of serious skin reactions; stop taking it immediately if you experience a rash or allergic symptoms. Due to the pseudoephedrine component in this medication, severe skin reactions may occur; discontinue use and consult a professional if fever, redness, or small blisters appear. Be careful not to exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen, as combining it with other acetaminophen-containing medications can cause liver damage. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, those with a history of asthma, infants under three months old, people taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and those with uncontrolled high blood pressure should not take it. It is advised not to take this medication in conjunction with cough medicines, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines during treatment. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with certain diseases or allergic conditions, individuals with major organ diseases such as liver or kidney issues, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a professional before taking it. If you experience unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or severe skin reactions during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Adhere closely to the prescribed dosage and duration, do not use it for a prolonged period, and children should be supervised by an adult when taking it. Avoid alcohol during treatment, and since drowsiness may occur, refrain from driving or operating machinery. Children under two years of age should not take this medication except in special circumstances; if necessary, consult a doctor. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. Additionally, do not transfer it to another container, and take care to maintain its quality.
