This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
How to take
Adult dose
For adults, take 20mL three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.
Precautions
This medication poses a risk of liver damage, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Due to the components included in this medication, serious skin reactions may occur rarely, so if a rash or allergic symptoms develop, discontinue use immediately. Caution should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage as it contains acetaminophen, and do not take with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals with known allergies to this medication or its components, those who have had asthma triggered, infants under three months of age, and those currently taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines while using this medication. Those with allergies to caramel or sodium bisulfite should exercise caution when using this medication, and especially asthmatics should take care. Children suffering from chickenpox or influenza, individuals with certain diseases, those with allergic tendencies or a history of drug allergies, and individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional; if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, seek medical attention. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and do not take it for an extended period; avoid alcohol and since drowsiness may occur, refrain from driving or operating machinery.
