This medication is used to relieve various symptoms accompanying the common cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (aged 15 years and older): 2 capsules 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes apart.

Child dose

Children (aged 8 to less than 15 years): 1 capsule 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes apart.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day, as it may cause liver damage. The acetaminophen contained in this medication canrarely cause serious skin reactions. If you experience a rash, itching, or blisters, discontinue use immediately and consult with medical personnel. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg, and caution is required when taken with other acetaminophen-containing products, as it may strain the liver. Individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or those who have previously experienced asthma from this medication or similar ingredients should not take it. Infants under 3 months should not take this medication, and children under the age of 2 must consult a doctor before use, even if they are over 3 months old. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as drowsiness may occur, and avoid driving or operating machinery. This medication should be used with caution if taken together with specific diuretics or medications containing licorice due to the risk of side effects. Finally, this medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air exposure in a cool and dry place, out of reach of children.
