This medication is used for patients who need to take Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin at the same time. Telmisartan is effective in treating essential hypertension and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, especially in high-risk patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors, reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and mortality from cardiovascular disease. Meanwhile, Rosuvastatin is effective in treating hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, particularly when not controlled by diet and exercise. Additionally, Rosuvastatin helps delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This combination of medications contributes significantly to improving cardiovascular health in high-risk patients.
