This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion and runny nose due to colds, rhinitis, sinusitis, and nasal inflammation after surgery. It also helps treat mucosal damage and promotes recovery.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Children 12 years and older or adults: Spray once into each nostril up to 3 times a day as needed.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in children under 12 years of age. It should not be used by individuals who are allergic to or demonstrate hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Patients who have had brain surgery or have exposed meninges should not use this medication. Patients with dry rhinitis or crusting should avoid this medication. Glaucoma patients or those at risk of increased blood pressure must consult a specialist before using this medication. People taking antidepressants or certain psychiatric medications should be cautious, as blood pressure may rise when using this medication. Those with heart diseases, thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, or other metabolic disorders should consult a physician before use. Individuals who are allergic or have previously experienced allergic symptoms with similar medications should also exercise caution. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised to avoid using this medication. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and administration and not to use it continuously for too long. Caution should be exercised as continuous use for more than 7 days may damage the nasal mucosa. This medication is for nasal use only; care should be taken not to spray it into the eyes or ears. To reduce the risk of infection, it should be used by only one individual. If any unusual symptoms or side effects occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. When used in children, supervision by an adult is required, as overdose may cause issues with the heart and central nervous system. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and use within 6 months after opening.

Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucosa, severe skin reactions, asthma attacks, breathing issues accompanied by cough and fever, respiratory problems, jaundice (yellowing of skin), profound fatigue, liver dysfunction, sudden and severe headaches, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, severe complications.

Mild side effects

Anxiety, insomnia, fatigue (drowsiness, sedation), headache, hallucination, palpitations, increased heart rate (tachycardia), elevated blood pressure, worsening of mucosal swelling due to decreased efficacy, nosebleeds, dryness and burning of the mucosa, sneezing, spasms, skin rash, itching of the skin and mucosa, angioedema, shortness of breath, temporary mild vision impairment, allergic skin rash, fixed drug eruption, rashes/redness, swelling, irritation, itching.

Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.

Storage

This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air and moisture from entering, and it is crucial to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will keep the medication stable and safe for use.
