This medication is used in patients who need to take both telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan controls hypertension and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular disease mortality in high-risk patients. Rosuvastatin improves hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, slows the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. It particularly helps reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and artery revascularization in patients with cardiovascular risk factors. The combination of these two medications effectively manages hypertension and dyslipidemia, improving cardiovascular health.
