This medication is prescribed only for patients using both telmisartan and rosuvastatin. Telmisartan controls blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension and reduces the risk of cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction and stroke in high-risk elderly patients. Rosuvastatin improves cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia and helps slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. By using both medications together, it is possible to effectively manage hypertension and hyperlipidemia and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This medication is used for improving cardiovascular health and disease prevention.
