Precautions

This medication must be dosed accurately to avoid overdose risks due to confusion between milligrams and milliliters, which can lead to serious side effects or death. Once the patient is able to take medication orally, it is advisable to switch to an appropriate analgesic as soon as possible. Always check if acetaminophen is included in other medications to avoid the risk of overdose from duplicate dosing. Exceeding the recommended dose can cause severe liver damage, so it is imperative to adhere to the specified dosages, especially for patients with liver function abnormalities. Signs of liver damage may appear days after administration, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, immediate medical attention is necessary. Patients with severely impaired liver function or those who consume alcohol must consult with a doctor before taking this medication. Serious rashes or allergic reactions may occur, so if these symptoms arise, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a doctor should be informed. Patients allergic to acetaminophen or this medication, those with peptic ulcers, or those with severe liver, kidney, or heart disease should not use this medication. It should not be administered to patients with aspirin-induced asthma or those taking certain medications, and patients who have consumed alcohol should also avoid it. Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease, bleeding tendencies, asthma, the elderly, pregnant, or breastfeeding women, especially if taking medications that interact with this medication. Regular monitoring of liver function, blood tests, etc., is necessary while receiving this medication. Overdose may cause symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and severe cases can lead to liver failure and death; emergency treatment is required immediately. This medication should not be mixed with other medications, particularly certain antibiotics or anticoagulants. Pediatric and elderly patients should use the minimum effective dose, paying attention to adverse reactions, and since it can mask infection symptoms, patients with infections should follow appropriate treatment as directed by a doctor. During pregnancy, this medication should be used only after carefully weighing its benefits and risks, and it can be used relatively safely during breastfeeding. This medication should be stored at temperatures between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius, and should not be refrigerated or frozen; ensure to check for any foreign substances or discoloration before administration.
