This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the common cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Individuals aged 15 and older: Take 1 capsule three times a day 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day; therefore, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. The acetaminophen component of this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions; if symptoms such as rash or itching occur, you should immediately stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. If the pseudoephedrine component causes symptoms such as fever, red spots, or pustules on the skin, you must stop taking this medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and it is important not to take it with other medications that contain acetaminophen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, those with a history of asthma, infants under three months old, individuals taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, and patients with uncontrolled hypertension should not take this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take this medication alongside cough medicines, other cold medications, fever reducers, sedatives, and antihistamines. Particularly, children who are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific illnesses or allergic predispositions, and those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, or pregnant women should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness appear during treatment, you should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist; if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, a doctor's consultation is necessary. In principle, this medication should not be given to children under two years of age, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. When taking this medication, adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid prolonged use, refrain from alcohol consumption during treatment, and be cautious of drowsiness, making it advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery.
