People with urinary stones or kidney stones should also use this medication with caution, as there is a risk of worsening symptoms due to increased uric acid levels. Individuals with poor kidney function should use this medication carefully, as it may delay the body's excretion of uric acid. Those taking heart medication such as digitalis should be cautious, as this medication can affect the heart. This medication contains caramel, so individuals allergic to caramel or with sensitivities should use it carefully. Joint pain or rarely, interstitial pneumonia causing lung inflammation may occur, so caution is advised. This medication may increase uric acid levels in blood and urine, so it is advisable to regularly check uric acid levels and kidney function during treatment.
