This medication is used to relieve nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and heavy head symptoms caused by acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. It can help with these symptoms, so you can take it with confidence and it will be effective for symptom improvement.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adolescents aged 12 and over or adults, administer one spray into each nasal cavity (nostril) up to three times a day. The dosing interval should be at least 8 hours apart.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by children under 12 years old or individuals who are hypersensitive to this drug or its ingredients. Additionally, those taking or have recently stopped specific medications such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, individuals who have had brain surgery, patients with angle-closure glaucoma, those with dry or atrophic rhinitis, and individuals with pheochromocytoma or benign prostatic hyperplasia should avoid using this drug. This medication contains propylene glycol, and individuals allergic or hypersensitive to this ingredient should use it with caution. Those with hives, dermatitis, migraines, food allergies, a history of allergic reactions to medications, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or glaucoma must consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Additionally, those currently taking tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants, or individuals sensitive to sympathomimetic substances with symptoms such as insomnia, dizziness, tremors, cardiac arrhythmia, and elevated blood pressure should exercise caution. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, or nursing mothers should consult an expert before using this medication, as well as patients undergoing treatment. Consultation is especially necessary for smokers or those with respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or those experiencing a cough lasting over a week, accompanied by fever, rash, or headache. If any symptoms such as rash, swelling, irritation, or itching occur while using the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a health professional. If symptoms do not improve after three days of use, stop using and consult a doctor. In rare cases, severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, or vision disturbances may occur; if this happens, stop the medication immediately and consult a physician. This medication must be used precisely according to the prescribed dosage and method; excessive use can worsen nasal congestion. It should only be used for the treatment of rhinitis and not applied in the eyes or ears. Avoid concurrent use, and it is advisable not to use for more than seven days. While using, refrain from alcohol consumption, and children should use this under adult supervision. The benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication can induce bronchospasms and may cause irritation or swelling of the nasal mucosa with prolonged use, so caution is necessary. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, to maintain quality, do not transfer to other containers.
