Vitamin maintenance and prevention of trauma (surgery, burns) and severe infections in patients receiving intravenous nutritional support
This medication helps maintain vitamins in patients receiving nutrition through intravenous fluids. It is also used to prevent vitamin deficiency in patients after surgical procedures or in cases of severe burns, fractures, other traumas, severe infections, and those in a comatose state. Proper vitamin supplementation in these situations plays an important role in patient recovery and health maintenance. Therefore, this medication is effective in improving overall nutritional status and preventing vitamin deficiencies.

Caution is required when administering more than 5,000 IU of Vitamin A daily to women in the first trimester or those who may become pregnant, as it may increase the risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Patients allergic to the ingredients in this medication or those with hemophilia should not use it. Patients with hypercalcemia should verify their condition through blood and urine tests before use, as the Vitamin D included in this medication may elevate calcium levels in the blood, worsening symptoms. Patients with reduced kidney function should be cautious, as Vitamin D can cause an increase in blood calcium levels, potentially worsening kidney function. This medication is recommended for use only in children aged 11 years and older; safety and efficacy have not been established in children under 11 years of age. Patients with bronchial asthma, skin rashes, urticaria, or a history of drug hypersensitivity should use this medication cautiously. In cases of overdose, hypersensitivity reactions to Vitamins A and D may occur, and in severe cases, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may arise, necessitating immediate discontinuation of administration and appropriate treatment. Long-term use may lead to the accumulation of Vitamins A and D in the body, so regular blood tests to check levels are recommended. Interactions with other medications may occur, thus it is advised not to use it in conjunction with acetazolamide, chlorothiazide, hydrochloride tetracycline, and to be cautious with calcium salts, folic acid, Vitamin K, and levodopa. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should take this medication carefully under the guidance of a physician due to the risk of side effects from excessive vitamin intake. Elderly patients may have decreased body function, so dosage adjustments may be necessary due to caution. This medication may affect clinical test results, potentially interfering with glucose detection in urine tests or producing false-negative results. Use immediately after opening, dispose of any remaining solution, and store protected from light due to light-sensitive components. Injecting the undiluted solution directly may cause dizziness or fainting, so it must be diluted before use. During storage, keep out of reach of children, protect from freezing, and store in a shaded area in a refrigerator. It is important to store the medication sealed in its original container to maintain pharmaceutical quality and ensure safe usage.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air and moisture infiltration, with a storage temperature maintained between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will ensure the medication's effectiveness is safely maintained.
