This drug is used for patients who need to take both Telmisartan and Lovastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan treats hypertension and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It especially lowers the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death due to cardiovascular diseases in high-risk patients. Lovastatin manages hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing cardiovascular disease risk. It is also effective in certain patients with familial hypercholesterolemia. Using these two drugs together effectively improves various risk factors related to cardiovascular diseases.
