This medication is used to relieve various uncomfortable symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, throat pain, cough, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 and older: take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medicine may burden the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rashes, blisters, or red spots occur on the skin during the use of this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. As it contains acetaminophen, care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Since it contains pseudoephedrine, it may cause severe rashes or pustules on the skin, so if these symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. Those who have an allergy to this medicine or have had hypersensitivity reactions, experienced asthma attacks, infants under 3 months old, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and patients with uncontrolled hypertension should not take this medicine. Taking this medicine with cough medicines, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, and antihistamines should be avoided. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, persons with allergy predispositions or various diseases such as liver, kidney, or heart issues, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must consult a specialist before taking it. If skin rashes, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, severe allergic reactions, or signs of liver dysfunction occur during use, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a physician. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration of administration; do not take it for a long time, and avoid alcohol while using it. Drowsiness may occur when taking this medicine, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Care should be taken when using it with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice, as it may lead to hypokalemia or muscle issues. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
