Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, it should not be used in individuals allergic to this medication or its components, those with ulcers, perforations, bleeding, or infections in the nose, or recently undergone nasal surgery or have injuries in the nose. This is because this medication contains corticosteroid components that may interfere with wound healing. Moreover, patients with eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts, or with a history of such conditions, need to use this medication with caution. Patients with tuberculosis, fungal, or viral infections, or those with weakened immune systems should also use it cautiously, as infections may worsen. Using this medication in excess of the recommended dose or even at the standard dose may affect adrenal function, so if such symptoms arise, the dosage should be gradually reduced. In children, growth rate may be slowed down, so it is necessary to regularly monitor their growth while using this medication. Patients with recurrent nasal bleeding, those who are pregnant or possibly pregnant, and nursing mothers should also use this medication with caution. This medication is administered as a spray directly into the nose and may cause irritation, bleeding, or ulcers in the nasal mucosa. It should not be used until wounds are fully healed after nasal surgery or trauma. Additionally, this medication may cause visual impairment such as glaucoma or cataract; consult a specialist if there are any changes in vision or other eye issues. If wheezing or hypersensitivity reactions occur after using this medicine, use should be discontinued immediately. The corticosteroid component may lower immunity, increasing the risk of infections, particularly in those at risk of chickenpox or measles. Since this medication is metabolized in the liver, patients with poor liver function should consult a doctor before use. Overdose may result in drowsiness, anxiety, and other symptoms, and since there is no specific antidote, it is important to receive treatment according to the symptoms. Before use, the container should be well shaken, and the spray nozzle should be tested to ensure the medication is properly dispensed. During storage, the medication should be kept in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, preferably in a cool place between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. Finally, while using this medication, drowsiness or decreased concentration may occur, so caution should be taken when driving or operating hazardous machinery.
