Precautions

If during treatment you notice a decrease in urine volume, face or extremity swelling, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness in the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches, you should immediately stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. Long-term ingestion of the licorice component in this medication in amounts exceeding a certain level may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain, so regular blood tests should be conducted, and if abnormalities are found, the medication should be discontinued. Symptoms indicating myopathy such as muscle weakness, limb spasms, or paralysis can occur due to hypokalemia; if these symptoms appear, stop the medication and inform a specialist. Be cautious as side effects such as dry mouth or a curled tongue may occur. Taking this medication with potassium-containing drugs, licorice components, or specific diuretics can increase the risk of side effects, so always consult a specialist. It is advisable not to use this medication in conjunction with components such as Pinellia and Atractylodes.
