This medication is used for patients who need to take Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin together. Olmesartan Medoxomil helps effectively treat hypertension, especially essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is mainly used as an adjunct treatment for lipid disorders such as hypercholesterolemia that are not improved by diet and exercise. Additionally, Rosuvastatin has a positive effect in slowing the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It particularly helps decrease the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and revascularization procedures. Therefore, this medication is used for managing hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and for reducing cardiovascular disease risk.
