This medication is specifically used for patients who need to take both valsartan and rosuvastatin. Valsartan primarily helps to reduce the risk of death that may occur after essential hypertension, heart failure, and myocardial infarction. It is particularly effective for heart failure patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors. Meanwhile, rosuvastatin assists patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient, playing an important role in reducing cardiovascular disease risk. It is also used as an adjunct to diet in cases of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. These two medications manage blood pressure and improve blood lipids simultaneously, effectively enhancing cardiovascular health.
