Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components. Individuals with liver disease or those who have a history of liver disease should be cautious as this medication may exacerbate liver conditions. If any allergic reactions such as rash, urticaria, facial or limb swelling occur during use, discontinue immediately and seek medical attention. This medication may cause sedation, headache, dizziness, insomnia, and nightmares, so caution is advised if such symptoms arise. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and dry mouth may occur, and if liver function abnormalities or jaundice symptoms develop, discontinue use immediately. Rarely, abnormal symptoms related to the kidneys or urinary tract may occur, so careful observation is necessary if any symptoms emerge. Symptoms such as increased heart rate, shortness of breath, or nasal congestion have also been reported, so if there are unusual signs, consult medical personnel. Blood-related abnormalities may rarely occur, so caution is advised if bleeding or easy bruising is observed. In females, enlargement of breasts or menstrual irregularities, and breast pain may rarely occur, and if any changes are detected, they should be reported. This medication is not designed for rapid relief of asthma attacks, so asthma patients should understand this aspect well. Patients receiving long-term steroid treatment should gradually adjust steroid doses when using this medication. Sedation may occur, so caution is needed when operating machinery or driving. If there is no effect, it is advisable not to take it long-term. Seasonal allergy patients should start taking it before symptoms begin and continue during the symptom period. Taking this medication with other sedatives, antihistamines, or alcohol has a low possibility of enhancing sedative effects, but due to limited clinical experience, caution is warranted. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use it carefully after consulting a doctor, and breastfeeding women should either avoid taking it or cease breastfeeding. Safety in children, newborns, and infants has not been sufficiently confirmed, so caution is needed in their use. Elderly individuals may experience decreased liver and kidney function, so any abnormal symptoms should be closely observed and doses adjusted if necessary. Overdosage may lead to serious side effects such as arrhythmias, so immediate medical treatment should be sought in such cases. Store in a safe place out of the reach of children and do not transfer to another container. Taking this medication on an empty stomach may increase blood concentration, so it is recommended to take it before bedtime or after meals depending on symptoms.
