This medication is used for epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous factors such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), and dry eye syndrome. It is also effective for epithelial disorders caused by exogenous factors arising post-surgery, due to medication, trauma, and wearing contact lenses. It helps improve damage to the ocular surface caused by various factors.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

0.1%, 0.3% preparation: Instill 1 drop at a time, 5-6 times a day. Adjust as needed according to symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% preparation is used, and if the effect is insufficient in severe cases, the 0.3% preparation is administered.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions to protein-based drugs or its ingredients. Symptoms such as itching or irritation in the eyes, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal disorders, and foreign body sensation may occur, and rarely, discharge or pain in the eyes may develop. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Inflammation of the eyelids or surrounding skin may also occur; if such symptoms appear, stop using the medication and seek treatment. When used with other specific eye drops, adverse reactions may increase, so be sure to consult with medical personnel about co-administered medications. This medication is intended for topical use only, and care should be taken to avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eyelids or eyelashes; otherwise, the solution may become contaminated and harm eye health. Do not use this medication while wearing soft contact lenses, and wait at least 15 minutes after application before putting on the lenses. If possible, do not share this medication with others, and take care to maintain personal hygiene and prevent infections. Keep out of reach of children, store away from direct sunlight, and keep in a cool place. Additionally, do not transfer this medication to another container; it should be stored in its original container to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
